Michael Newirth

Michael Newirth was educated at the University of Chicago, the University of Florida, and the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars. He was fiction editor of the now-defunct Bridge Magazine from 2002 to 2006. His writing received a Henfield-Transatlantic Review award and appears in numerous publications and anthologies, including In These Times, Chicago Reader, Open City, The Baffler, Other Voices, Another Chicago Magazine, Time Out Chicago, Boob Jubilee: The Cultural Politics of the New Economy, A Fine Excess: Literature at Play, and Pushcart Prize XXII. He currently teaches at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Anna Leahy

Anna Leahy's collection entitled Constituents of Matter won the Wick Poetry Prize and has been published by Kent State University Press. Her poetry appears in literary journals such as the Connecticut Review, Crab Orchard Review, The Journal, and Rhino; in the chapbook Hagioscope from Finishing Line Press; and in the anthology On the Wing from the University of Iowa Press. Her collaborative scholarship (with art historian Debora Rindge) about the poetry of Pulitzer Prize winner Natasha Trethewey appeared in ELN and is forthcoming in an anthology about ekphrastic poetry. Leahy teaches at Chapman University in Orange, California.
