J.C. Hallman

J.C. Hallman's fiction and nonfiction have appeared in many venues, including GQ, Tin House, Salon, Boulevard, and others. His books include The Chess Artist, The Devil is a Gentleman, The Hospital for Bad Poets, and In Eutopia. He has taught creative writing at a number of colleges and universities. He lives in St. Paul, and can be reached through his website, jchallman.com.

Nina Corwin

Nina Corwin is the author of one collection of poetry, Conversations With Friendly Demons and Tainted Saints (Puddin'head Press, 1999). Co-editor of Inhabiting the Body: A Collection of Poetry and Art By Women (Moon Journal Press, 2002) and curator of literary events at WomanMade Gallery, she has performed her work throughout the country, collaborating with musicians, dancers and other poets, including the CUBE contemporary chamber ensemble, Chicago DanzTheater and Serendipity Percussion Ensemble. Recently nominated for a Pushcart Prize, her poetry appears or is forthcoming in ACM, Bayou, Hotel Amerika, Mudfish, New Ohio, Poetry East and Southern Poetry Reviews. She has received awards from the Illionois Arts Council and Illinois State Poetry Society. She lives in Chicago, where she has a private practice of psychotherapy.
